How do you stretch beyond your computer screen and connect with Anthem in person?
That’s easy.
Show up by 7pm at the Student Room at Mars Hill. That shouldn’t be hard to find—it’ll be the place where people you’ve never met are standing outside telling you they’re glad you’re there.
Next, head toward the signs for your grade-level.Don’t worry about having to look for us. We’ll be looking for you.
After we’ve met you, right away we’ll connect you with a LifeGroup. A LifeGroup is a group of people who are alive [go figure] and who are trying to live the best kind of life together. It’s made up of six-10 students in your grade and two amazing volunteer LifeGroup Leaders. Our big room will seem much smaller with your LifeGroup showing you around.
On Wednesdays at Anthem, you’ll get the chance to eat, listen to music, laugh, discuss, pray, experience creative worship, hear teachings, and serve others, along with playing foursquare, pool, and ping-pong in between.
Expect to have fun. Expect to learn something new and to discover what matters. Expect that in trying to live the best kind of life, we’ll be figuring it out together.
To participate in anthem and LifeGroup-hosted events and activities, students must turn in an anthem release form.
